I don’t know, I wasn’t there.
That is truly my answer, and an answer I wish more people would use more of the time. It is the sign of a true in the wool Jabroni to stomp their feet and claim something is true for which they have no direct experience, proof or evidence.
Words are not proof.
Especially in this day and age, where there is machinery operating behind the scenes to analyze your every click and provide you with more of the same.
When you are sure of something, the best thing you can do is listen to someone who has a different opinion or someone who can argue well for the thing you are against.
Because you might be wrong.
Not only that, but you might not even know the full story.
Enter Roswell.
Again, I’m not claiming to know.
I don’t know.
But if I was forced to bet?
I would probably bet the information at this link is pretty close to the truth – https://www.skeptic.org.uk/2024/03/the-wikipedia-conspiracy-that-wasnt-or-why-wikipedia-says-roswell-was-a-balloon/
It is a fascinating take on how the lore of Roswell actually came to be. With some pretty convincing details, backed up by evidence.
Is it really true that Roswell wasn’t even a blip on the UFO radars until 33 years later?
You should read it and make your own decision.
Of course, none of us were there and the details of those events will always live on forever in OctoberWorld.
Even if they were made-up by a crank writer.
